In other words, I have never volunteered or supervised volunteers, and the reasons for that are rather simple. Being busy with my studies, work, and hobbies, I face some difficulties finding time to search for an organization, get acquainted with its volunteering requirements, and apply. Further, even if I find an appropriate place where I can volunteer, I doubt that I will always find the energy to do that. In my opinion, such a practice is primarily for individuals who are full of inner force that consists of happiness, self-acceptance, general satisfaction, hopefulness, and positive attitudes. I believe that volunteers should be energetic in order to share their emotions and efforts and then have something left for themselves. As for me, I feel that if I become a volunteer in the nearest future, I will not have enough time to recover from my studies and work, so my contribution will be negligible. Nevertheless, I truly aim to volunteer at some elderly care programs in the future. I feel that working with seniors will benefit both them and me.
